Have you seen the Chanel Fall/Winter 2014-2015 ready-to-wear fashion show in Paris? A video here (scroll down to the first March 6 post) and an interesting trend report here and the best Paris show looks here.

In the above pic Valerie and I are organizing our Tea Party at church. Yummy cupcakes and smoked salmon sandwiches. And a grand occasion to dress up like Coco!

This week in Paris the Great Karl had imagined a Chanel Shopping Center where the models strolled around freely as the audience admired the trendy shop hopper crowd. Lots of pinks and other peppy colors. The Master himself commented saying that “every woman wants to perk up the gray seasons with some colorful accents. This has to be done in style though.” My kind of style, for sure. Modern, shiny fabrics and street worthy shoes with luxuriously and timelessly chic silhouettes.

Don’t you just love the mix of “chic and shock”? Right down my alley.

Sparkles make everything better. Missy knows that.

Here in the North American Paris, we’re still huffing away some snow dust. But my pink is pushing thru, though. Bubbly spirit. No matter what may come. Like clogged sinuses.

Look what a genius combo – tweed with shiny pants! So edgy and contemporary. Brings it to this era.

The Chanel collection must have been inspired by macaroons, amarettis, biscottis and such. Such candied colors leave no one cold. At the daycare, when distributing crafting paper, the pink gets the biggest “who wants it ‘me-eeee’s”.

The above yummy accessory galore is found downtown Plattsburgh, upstate NY at the lovely Barbara’s boutique Caché Elegant.

Cupcakes make everything better, right? Baked by the stylish Valerie herself.

I’m fighting a cold. Have been the whole week. Today was the first day I had to miss work. Can’t teach a class when I’m not-in-my-groove state. Hopefully my visit at the walk-in clinic later today will go faster than last time in October – then the ordeal took me 5hrs! I’ll be armed with the latest issue of US Marie Claire. The subscription was my Xmas present.

Spring Colors – Blue and Orange

Spring Colors - Blue and Orange This was my fashion blast of the week – my fave store in town Signatures Quebecoises (at 560 rue Saint-Joseph Est, Quebec City) organized a trendy event. A sneak peek into spring… check out for all-around tangerine, with hints of blueberry!

Spring Colors - Blue and Orange

I would wear this combi at any time.

The perky pants and oh wow, the shoes!

B&W movie elegance.

Spring Colors - Blue and Orange

Ladylike, me likey likey.

Spring Colors - Blue and Orange Bubbly and snacks. With good conversation. Always a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Spring Colors - Blue and Orange

Long skirts aren’t my personal strong side but I could give this one a try.

A Bag love-bag lady selfie.

Refreshing stripes.

There’s omething sweetly sixties and Audrey Hepburnesque about this bag.

Spring Colors - Blue and Orange I ended up getting this necklace for a friend as a birthday gift. She loves her new, handmade in Canada piece of jewel. Spring Colors - Blue and Orange

Chic silhouette.

Chillin’ in Jeans land. I still have to get my pair of Canadian-made yoga jeans.

Sweet pinky pink, come to mama!

For the tough side in all of us. Edgy makes everything tastier.

Spring Colors - Blue and Orange

Wrist candy, take two.

For the moment, here in Quebec City cute pompon-ed winter hats are still on the program, though. Dreaming of spring has started, nevertheless!

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

My bestie Elodie and I took a day trip to Montreal. One Sunday as we met at Starbucks, I was a bit under the weather and Elodie came up with the idea. She picked me up in the morning and we rode and babbled the three hours that it takes from Quebec City to hit the Southern metropolis.

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

We did see a fashion and craft exhibition but the best offerings were found at the conference center which happened to host a fashion and handmade products fair. The above are soaps – the smells were delish!

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

A kiss… A smack… the French way! It is Montreal after all. I get a kick out of geometrical things like these. My Scandinavian side maybe. Pure lines entice me.

Chocolate therapy… or is it the shoe one? Shopaholic or chocaholic – choose your camp, or not.

A girls’ day is always such a booster. Seeing pretty things and having the time just to be together. We grabbed a leisurely lunch and took the time to linger on in the city.

Capturing the moment – you, (sex?) and the City. I love the concept. I’m a sucker for pics, anyway. You know that by now.

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

We also bumped into a fashion show. A sure treat for this fashionista. The clothes weren’t that “state of the art” but I appreciate any fashion happening flowing my way.

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

Elodie all smiles as usual! I love her bubbly energy. Cozy and chic in her earmuffs. Remember – we got them together.

Girrrlz Indulge in Montreal

My another guilty pleasure – fur. Faux by preference, may that be mentioned. Should I come across any softy hairy stuff, I just have to fidget.

Here. Now. Happy. That’s already a big victory.

Quebec City Fashion Cream Xmas Party

Quebec Xmas

My favorite fashion destination in Quebec City Les Signatures Quebecoises threw a Xmas party – and a rosé chic celebration it was. The store showcases local Canadian fashion designers. The trendy destination is on one the hypest streets in town, Saint Joseph.

Quebec Xmas

What a cavalcade of electric blues. The second outfit is so me.

Quebec Xmas

The fashion blogger in action. I opted for turquoise accents.

Quebec Xmas

So cute these fur babies. Pouches and bags to keep you and your valued ones cozy.

Quebec Xmas

Check out Marie-Josee Bergeron style. Chic and shock as I like it. Just the right dose of biker attitude… with champagne.

Quebec Xmas

Here on the right the talented Marie-Josee and her creations.

This lace wonder caught my eye. Sexy as we like it here on Susu Paris Chic.

Marie-Josee Bergeron’s fashion show. A superb treat.

See, rosé was flowing… What “it girl” wouldn’t like that? And yes, we are all “it girls”.

Ralph Leroy in front of his collection. Check it out here. A sexy play of colors, materials and the flow of fabric… or of life. This was the second time I met the charmer and he does know how to make a woman feel like a lady.

Thank you so much for the invite! It was an exquisite moment of little pink pleasures.

Signatures Quebecoises Show

At the restaurant Versa I got to savor latest Quebecker cutting-edge fashion. Creativity was sizzling in the air. Designers from Signatures Quebecoises, a buzzing new talent hub and a store on the one of Quebec City’s busiest streets, were featuring their spring and summer collections.

Pop of color – even with the always classy black.

Chiffon is so of actuality. With killer heels, naturallement.

I went for a sixties vibe – and a little eye-catching craze on the leg.

Versa’s ambiance is chic yet relaxed. Music is at a good level.

Peachy tones rule this summer.

Versa’s specialty – the oyster bar. I could stand at the counter for hours and marvel at their shell opening techniques.

Fashion brings us together…

I’m just having a glam time with all the fashion fun taking place allover Quebec City. After the long winter, oh la la, does that feel good or what. Being able to shed the layers and live in high heels again. Well, I did it even before… but now it’s more, hmm… of a conventional practice.

Uni(t) Fashion Show

Another fun fashion night out with the Quebec Fashion Festival. Now we got to savor Uni(t)‘s blazers and army inspired summer gear.

The outing took place at The Boudoir Lounge, a chic downtown night club and bar.

I went for burning red accents this eve. I needed to feel that tickle only scarlet can give.

Live performance… the glam singer had had the same ideas about red accents.

“I’m gonna pop some tag…”

Yep, fashion keeps uniting us here and there. It’s fun to pop in, savor the moment and then loiter on uplifted.
