I’m Back – Refreshed by the Ocean

It’s been the longest blog break I’ve taken ever during the lifetime of this one since 2007. Things just went that way. We were enjoying ourselves by the ocean and wireless network was unsure. So I took time to live real life and to breathe in the ocean air.

I’m extremely happy to be back though. I am contented to be reconnecting with you. My blog is about sharing joy. It’s about bringing sunshine and positive vibes into this world. I’m thankful that you’re here right now. That you’re interested in reading what I have to say. As the new business/school/activity year is dawning, I’ll be here more enthusiastic than ever to inspire you to feel good be it fashion, self development, traveling or relaxation.

Our first vacation week was spent on Cape Cod in Massachussetts. We camped less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean. We took long walks on the beach. I did yoga there. We swam and cuddled and slept there. We took in all the renewing breezes. As my tank top says, I needed “vitamin sea”, and I truly got my dose.

This weekend I wish that you also find “your beach”. Go take some time for yourself. Rejoice in what is beautiful, calming and energizing around you. Get lost in the moment. Be you.

Sending love…

Spring and even summer are here, yay! Canada is so different in the warm seasons. Everyone’s out and about and just making the most of the sunny skies. I’m hosting a dinner party tomorrow. I’m so hyped. I love gathering dear friends together and just chilling and having fun. I plan to  teach my friends some facial yoga moves that I’ve been doing.

Boston by Water

Here are my last Boston pics. We took the Boston Harbor Cruise (for about 30 bucks) and visited the surrounding areas for an hour and a half. It was a narrated tour and the guy in charge spoke with an Irish accent and was overflowing with enthusiasm. I like being on and by the water. There’s something soothing and dreamy about seas, lakes and oceans.

Life has been good recently. Last weekend I met with friends. Sebastien and I also went out to dance. Going to bed at 4a.m. from time to time does good to your soul. I equally took long walks and spent some time reading in the park. Today’s an easier schedule for me. I’ll take advantage of that and go out to enjoy some more park time, with a stop at Starbucks, naturally.

Boston Black Heritage Trail and Beacon Hill

sujase_5544

I still have some yummy pics to show you from Boston. I loved dressing in all black. I don’t often do that anymore – I used to a lot – so when I do, it makes me feel different, it makes a statement.

I greatly enjoyed following the Black Heritage Trail. I criss-crosses the picturesque area of Beacon Hill. Boston is an awesome city for someone like me who loves putting on those miles. We walked, and walked some more, for a total of close to six hours that day. It feels great to be out and about, visit and use your precious body at the same time. After that you can go a crazy with them Doritos, if you’d like. That’s my indulgence when I travel.

On our first night in Boston we took a leisurely walk around the nearby reservoir. Our Airbnb in Boston’s Brookline was an awesome place. We shared the sky lighted top floor, waking up to the spring budding nature and rays of sunlight. The house was a magical family home and our host Hilary had just started airbnbing so she was as excited as us about our visit.

We got to savor oven hot scones for breakfast along with interesting conversations about things like the current American politics. At night we were welcomed to share a glass of red – offer upon which I naturally couldn’t say nay. Boston had us walk a lot, but that’s how I roll anyway.

Tomorrow I’m headed to Montreal but I’ll keep them Boston stories coming in the future. I still got a some cool pics and stories to share. If you want to follow my Montreal adventure, hop over to Instagram. My goal is to post my first ever “My Story” video.

Boston Museum of Fine Arts

Boston Museum of Final Arts

My visit at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts was well worth the 25-dollar entry fee. My friend Chantal and I took a one-hour guided tour under theme of art from America. Our guide, a lovely gentleman, took our small group of four kiddos – we could have been our guide’s grandkids I think – thru different decades of art and artifacts, pulling out pieces that I wouldn’t have accorded so much time to. The “aw, am I glad I came ” moment was in font of Frieda Kahlo’s two servants. Everything in that lapse of time just seemed perfect – relaxing and cultivating all at once.
