Moonwalking in Michael Jackson’s footprints. Be my opinion polled, the all-around-spurring trend of accentuated shoulders and captain stud enhancements undoubtedly come from no less of a sartorial stir source but the King of Pop. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to join these happy, skilfully-feet fleeting troops, but when I bounced into this lovely tee, I couldn’t put enlist.
The white ruffled skirt brings a squirt of effervescence into the outfit. Making it fit for summer festivities. I’m plucking each day as they come. Thankfully, smelling lilies and beaming back at the sun.

I wanted to introduce to you, dear cupcakes, a fashion blogger whose style I’ve absolutely adored from the very moment I stumbled upon her zealously caffeinated site. Here, I give you Shin, a stylish Hawaiian who writes Fashion Cappuccino. Her specialty – why she inspires me – is black and white. The way Shin rocks this color combo is just remarkable.
So… since fashion is about sharing, boosting one another and living in a chirpy, chic community, I let myself be inspired by Shin and threw together this black and white ensemble. Of course I added a dash of Paris – the purple accents.
What do you think about getting spurred by other bloggers? Do you check out outfits in quest of stimulation and ideas?

Now the sun is here. Warming up my cheeks. Making me smile. Letting us store up jocund energy. And funky feelings. The sweet sunlight galore!
I came across this pulchritudinous strapless floral romper last week. The weather was pouring down, cats and dogs all around, yet I believed in brighter times and got the beauteous puppy! I love the bare feel, the gentle Paris breeze on my shoulders. A glass of chilled rosé – and I drink to you my dear friends! Lots of happy summer adventures to all of us.

Paris has been mighty rainy these mid-June days. The gloominess does cast a certain mood over our doings and goings about. It is the burning topic as folks sip their reds and whites. Having lived in cold places, I’d like to think that I’ve developed a certain distance towards the moodiness of our dear sun. So… I just hummed along as I pulled out my trusted jeans, along with a digital-printed, blue scarf. All of a sudden, I wanted to go classic – ’til the tip of my red nails. But never boring, is my guideline, as I happily experiment in Fashion Wonderland. And then, the sun came out. Before hiding again.
Cupcakes, did I manage to beat the been-there-done-that sartorial flat down?

Asian-inspired, vivacious reds are how Chanel attempts to usher us into the tender summer days. The magic works on me. I gaze at the double C trademark hairpins, with their luscious silver coverings, and I am ready to sail away. I see myself boarding a Seine river cruise boat, accepting the chilled glass of champagne that the monsieur at the gate kindly hands over to my way…
Chanel is about classiness. About poise and glamour. But it is also a story of a young lady who lived, loved and did what her heart told her to. Many of us aspiring fashionistas can take after Coco’s example. You and I can become what we hope for. Clothing our bodies as well as our dreams.
What is it that you’d like to accomplish before the summer is over? Maybe write it down, along with three steps on how to reach your goal. Then… cupcake fairies, just get going and encourage others on their way!

Button-up blouses are one of this moment’s hottest trends. Since I have a soft spot for anything dainty, preppy and put-together, it comes as no surprise that I’m all vanillas over this fad. After having spent three weeks on the road, mostly in less than more dressed up gear, I’ve made it my personal pleasure to go crazy over lady-likeness, multiplied by high heels, during these sweet, after-my-return-upon-Paris days.
It’s been a true treat rediscovering my city. Taking the time to reminisce the ambrosial American moments… inviting inspirations. And just to live. Every drop. Feeling refreshed and blessed. Playing again in Blogland, with you, dear cupcakes!
