My real life back in Canada has kicked in. A few moments after my return at home-sweet-home, a bunch of our closest friends paid a visit. Someone was hollering the French national anthem below our window – and there they were. What a nice welcome! My homies got together for me.
I’ve felt super light in spirit. Time off in Europe did lull me into featherier fields. I was able to make some cardinal changes in my outlook on life. I feel freer to go out and about. Just doing my thing. Not caring about other people. What they may think… Try that, too. It is liberating. Your energies shall flow more abundantly.
I got a translating gig, in addition to my other contracts. I’m now teaching groups, kids and private lessons. At my place, thru Skype or people’s houses. My days are filled with going around town. I’ve come up with a new fun thing – watching movies on the tablet. Just finished Twenty Seven Dresses, now working thru Beauty Shop.
Tomorrow is my B-Day. I’d like to invite friends for a picnic at my fave site in the city, greens overlooking the river. Let’s see if the weather cooperates. Plan B is a pink drink at a chic bar.
Fashion wise it’s felt dandy to accessorize to max again. When you live out of your suitcase, this one is a bit of a challenge.
Stay sweet and chic… I still have to pop in for visits! Busyness has had me, but time will I find.
