Sexy Red Floral
My weekend in Vermont was just what the doc ordered. We left right after work, a group of eight friends, drove down thru the snowy landscapes. Friday night was about hanging around the fireplace, and eating pizza. Red wine was involved, naturally.
Saturday cinnamon bagel breakfast done and we headed out to the nearby snowshoeing trails. It had been a long while this city fairy had spent as much time in the hugs of nature. I was proud of myself after the hike. First time powdery shoeing. I made it, enjoyed and got even excited about repeating the stroll in the near future.
Sunday was about more nature hikes and a blast at the skating rink. I used to figure skate and I still have some moves down – and when the music goes off… this girl’s gotta boogie. I danced my heart out. A great workout. An awesome moment to savor in its simplicity.
A lovely bag! To chic stroll around the city… So this week I’ve been quite wiped out, but in a good way. It’s interesting how spending energy provides you with more. And how pushing your boundaries whispers encouraging messages into your ear, for a while to follow.
At times going where you think you don’t want to, like long outings in the forest for me, can actually soothe you, comfort you and inspire you. At least once over, if not even while you’re at it. I greatly appreciated to calm of the woods, put my polluting worry thoughts aside.
Fashion wise, I’m all ready for the pops of red budding this spring. Floral prints will be there, too.That’s a staple for the lengthening days. This weekend I’ll take it more chic calm chilling.
