When I saw this window display, it made me think of something very much in vogue in Paris right now – champagne beatified with gold leaves sweetly floating in the bubbly beverage. Chanel goes trusted tweed, but with a contemporary bling-bling twist. They weave in shiny threads, accentuate shoes with metallic dust. Just have a look at that gorgeous patinated boot!
I admire how Chanel traces its own way, holding onto their trademark style, French elegance and classy tailoring. And how, at the same time, they daringly strive on keeping up with today’s zests – revisiting classics and experimenting with unexpected materials. Sweet cocktails… Isn’t that beige satin just mighty pina colada smooth?

I so agree! You can always spot Chanel, can’t you? It’s in a class all of it’s own.
My favorite thing about Chanel is their accessories (hangbags, belts, jewelry, shoes.)
Btw, I love the heels on those strapping shoes!

I love the white Chanel sandals with the navy stockings. It’s so reminiscent of the look from when I was a child in the 1970s (old lady am I, lol). I love seeing this retro look, though.
Chanel = classic look = classy. Good stuff.

I adore the boots, the 7th photo.
I am always underweight since in primary grade. It takes a grand vacation to enable me to gain some weights just to lose quickly in a matter of two days when the work starts, a very demanding job. I envy women who naturally are looking healthy. By that, I mean they’re on normal weight. But how ironic, because almost everyone envies my built – skinny.
Therefore I conclude, that while for some individuals it takes discipline not to gain weight, for some it takes discipline not to lose weight. Haha! such irony.

I am so sorry for your pain at this time in your life. I admire your strength, courage and your ability to still flash that illuminating and contagious smile. However, your personal life is just that and it really is nobody’s business. I was keeping a fashion blog for almost a year and thoroughly enjoyed it until people, both closer to home and far away, started to leave rude and/or nasty comments. It varied from how much I spent on clothes to how vain I was. They were hurtful and I just stopped fashion blogging altogether. I don’t know if I will ever do it again but I admire those who do. And I love visiting your blog. You bring back to me that wonderful Paris I fell in love with a mere few weeks ago and I cannot forget. I still wish we could have met. Please keep going with this blog and with trying to get better. Always know that you have so many supporters who wish you health, happiness and lots of love.
