I savored a palatable picnic in the Versailles Castle Gardens with some dear folks. The occasion was prefect for zestful retro looks. I pulled out this lovely lace trimmed top, added in a pair of acid washed jeans shorts, toppled the deal off with a swank little ruffled leather belt. I felt zestful, yet comfy and ready to visit the castle… after my giant raspberry jelly-filled cookie, of course. Oh and Starbucks. I’ve found one of the coveted coffee shops in Versailles – these puppies are still quite hard to come across on this side of the Atlantic.

Hi there! I have been reading your blog for almost a year, since you started the fashion blog, but have just been lurking in that time. I also know Leesa up there! *waves at Leesa* I finally decided to comment because of a few reasons: Leesa has told me what a kind and sweet person you are and I could not continue to be silent knowing you are so nice
, I really love that outfit you are wearing in this post, and I also was so happy to see lovely photos of Versailles, which is one of my most favorite/most interesting places to visit in Paris so far in the couple of years I have lived here. I learned a lot from visiting there!
A special post all the way around.
Hope you are staying cool in the hot weather, Susa!

I’ve been meaning to go there again this summer. Adore their gardens! And I’m a Starbucks addict, but I’ve found they’re quite frequent in Paris, no? There are two just 10 minutes from where I live…

Those shorts are cute! I love the hall of Mirrors inside Versailles. It´s my favorite part, too bad I wasn´t able to visit the palace gardens while I was there the last time because it was pouring hard. You look lovely as ever!
