I wanted to introduce to you, dear cupcakes, a fashion blogger whose style I’ve absolutely adored from the very moment I stumbled upon her zealously caffeinated site. Here, I give you Shin, a stylish Hawaiian who writes Fashion Cappuccino. Her specialty – why she inspires me – is black and white. The way Shin rocks this color combo is just remarkable.
So… since fashion is about sharing, boosting one another and living in a chirpy, chic community, I let myself be inspired by Shin and threw together this black and white ensemble. Of course I added a dash of Paris – the purple accents.

i do sometimes visit some fashion or individual blogs to see outfits and what’re out there now but i rarely am very much influenced by them. i just already have in mind what i want, or what i don’t want. i’m game for experiments but they usually don’t last and don’t work for me, actually. haha.

I love reading blogs as it’s the fastest way to hear of trends and discuss them with fellow fashionistas! It’s funny, though Tampere is the 3rd largest city in the whole country it’s still teeny tiny compared to any other abroad!

Honestly, I’ve always shied away from black and white combos. Something about it seems to verge on gimmicky. But I am completely inspired by seeing other blogger’s outfits, especially when they manage to pull off something I’ve been completely afraid to try!
