Asian-inspired, vivacious reds are how Chanel attempts to usher us into the tender summer days. The magic works on me. I gaze at the double C trademark hairpins, with their luscious silver coverings, and I am ready to sail away. I see myself boarding a Seine river cruise boat, accepting the chilled glass of champagne that the monsieur at the gate kindly hands over to my way…
Chanel is about classiness. About poise and glamour. But it is also a story of a young lady who lived, loved and did what her heart told her to. Many of us aspiring fashionistas can take after Coco’s example. You and I can become what we hope for. Clothing our bodies as well as our dreams.
What is it that you’d like to accomplish before the summer is over? Maybe write it down, along with three steps on how to reach your goal. Then… cupcake fairies, just get going and encourage others on their way!

Don’t you just love anything Chanel??
Having worked for Chanel in their cosmetic and fragrance division, you are so right…
“Chanel is about classiness. About poise and glamour.”
Even to this day, whenever I see the CC label, I can’t help but get excited.
Chanel is very big in Japan. I was amazed at how many women wear nothing but Chanel. They know “class” when they see it.
Great post, Susu!
