Not Waisting Time But a Dress
On past Saturday my dear friend Leesa and her amiable hubby came over for a night of fun and dining. Time flew away lickety-split as we discussed the culinary pleasures of France. I loved hosting Leesa. Baking up a dessert and prettifying myself a soupçon for the treasured occasion. Welcoming friends at our place is always a veritable primrose path to me. I love opening up my home and heart, sharing and most of all, always ending up receiving even more in return. A deeper connection is weaved. Stories shared and lives joined. Now I feel like positive energy is pumping yet stronger in my veins. I’m ready to sky out. This is what precious friendships do to you.
On the apparel side, I’m going scrumptious alike. Chocolate’s on my mind, can’t you tell? When I chanced upon this ruffled belt at Zara, I was a goner. Accessorizing the is current fashion hype and I’m gladly plunging into that magic cocoa potion. With just a jot you can give new, exciting peps to your trustee pieces.
How do you feel about hosting guests? What’s the best part – cooking, beatifying or maybe reminiscing afterward?
Precious Heart dress, Etam turtle neck, Zara belt, Dim stay ups, Tamaris pumps

yumm post!love your outfit, glad that you had a great time!
So chocolate chic! I love the earthy tones and sweet delishes (if that’s a word).
I love having friends over, but I still haven’t got back the long lost love for cooking (I’m a culinary school graduate), so I rather order appetizers from nearby restaurant and serve some great wine and champ with it.
One day I’ll start hosting real dinner parties… One day.
Those heels are super sexy with it! you look like a yummy chocolate bar!
Oh my, I’m drooling over those tasty treats you posted! I quite enjoy hosting dinner parties, although my husband tends to be the one who cooks on such occasions. I tend to have a lot of house guests as well, but that can be rather stressful at times.
dear Susu, so much about this dress and You in it reminds me of the darling model Twiggy from the 60’s. it’s mod and cute. looks really good on you. and those shoes. slingback patent leather heels(?). très chic mon amie!
i totally wish i could be there as you were entertaining. when you mentioned it i thought, oh i want to be there!! so glad it turned out nice.
having friends over i think is a blessing for our homes, and for our hearts. you know my story… i dream of the day when i am enjoying friends at me home. until then, i must admit, you continue to inspire. and i’m grateful.
have a beautiful week dear You. and thank you so much for the beauty you share…
