Feeling like a real mademoiselle in Paris… Dressing up in feathers and satin. Dreaming away, being contented in today, shaping up ideas for future creations. This outfit makes me fly. It is at the same time comforting and girly. Sensual and practical. I love the sleek touch of satin under my fingers. The feather-decorated necklace – a recent found at the local clothing store – gives the look a luxurious twist. As I wear this to work, I see clients smiling. A little pinch of playfulness can make all the difference.
I’ve been binging over movies recently.”It’s Complicated”, “Up In The Air”, “I Love You Philip Morris”, “Valentine’s Day”…these romantic comedies have slipped down as smoothly as a delish’ Cosmo would. It is a dash superficial, right. But on the other hand, in the midst of all life’s hard realities, a brief moment of comfort and laugh in the embrace of my good old, trusted corner movie theater… where is the harm? And, the frosting on the cupcake is that they have everything in the original, English versions… pure sweet music to my ears – me, mademoiselle who’s otherwise living her life à la française twenty-four seven. Loving it sure, one hundred and ten percent, but don’t mind an occasional break from the lovely macaroons.
