Peachy Cheeks
Winter keeps showing its snappy face in Paris. I opt for layers and have actually enjoyed the recent cold spells. My frostbitten cheeks that gently cave in as I enter the velvety indoor air. The gentle caress of hot veggie soup. Folks that somehow seem to lean closer than usual, as if to savor the warmth between.
Contrasts are there to wake and shake us up. I’ve been pondering lots recently. About my life, its goals and where the dance is leading. I long to leave my print. Walk steps of a princess. Spreading pink feathers in the form of good thoughts. Hopefully my comments on your blog bring you that gentle touch of kindness that I so dearly long to diffuse in my aftermath.

2ndly, when i saw your first picture i thought how fun, this park looks great, and was intrigued… i thought ‘what is she wearing?’ as always i love the black (the new york in me).
then as you stood up i could take in the layers and textures. so perfect and chic, a nice tip of the hat to a parisian winter.
do enjoy and be warm!!
You look so cute….Has been very cold and snowy back home. I also can tell in your pictures. I love your clothes and love the Chanel pictures.Haaa I am from Paris. Come say Hi. I would love to be your friend!
They do, darling Susu. Your comments are the sweetest ever! Those layers are so comforting I bet. I love that look. I’m going to have tons of princessy fun tomorrow. My little princess is turning four. It will be pink everywhere, feathers, sequins, and tutus. Can’t wait, actually! Hugs and kisses!!!
You look soo sweet, I love visiting your blog, your posts always make me smile! xox
Your comments are always very much appreciated, as are your beautiful photos from Paris.
Hei, piti heti tulla kurkistamaan Pariisittaren blogia, ja voi miten hyvä mieli näistä iloisista kuvista tuli
Tulen varmasti toistekin tänne viihtymään
You look so chic in gray and black susu!! I adore your poses!! You did an amazing job layering! xoxooxxoxo
How sweet! Yes, I have been to your Paris, and it’s my favorite place in the world. I often wonder about wearing chic clothes and shoes in winter weather. I don’t take the cold well and I live in a mountain town. When it snows here, it is a lot and does not allow for cute winter gear, lest you are willing to get soaked to the bone. So I’m stuck with sturdy boots and pants until it can melt.
Hey Susa!!
I’m really LOVIN’ that outfit!! And, you’re so darn cute!! There should be a law against that!!! hehe… just kidding!! I love coming to your blog to see your pretty face, great hair and ULTRA cute/beautiful outfits.. You are a talented fashionista!! I love all the different poses and angles of the shots… GO GIRL!!!
Paris chic you ARE!!
Have a wonderful Sunday my dear!
Hugs,
Leesa
P.S. Are you using any type of filter on your camera?? I see an “effect” that looks pinkish or light reddish in the top portion of the pictures and it reminds me of when I used different filters with my lens way back when.. Great effect!!!
love the glimpses of paris in the background…and you, so french in your black beret!
Very chic indeed! love the look and the park in the background. i’m in Finland for a week and really trying to use my creativity when bundling up for this weather. so much snow and so cold, but im so loving it. im in love with this country again! i guess it took 3 years of separation to see it this way again.

I can see why the winter season makes you reflective. We have less time in general to run around and play, and nature seems dormant.
I like the short over long sweater look. It seems warm! and the cabling is a nice detail.
layering is the best for cold days. : ) you look chic.
the french black hat ! I love, it’s so chic !!
J’adore ton beret et ta robe pull grise!
