Chanel Goes Pearls
I just had to whiz over to see what Chanel is up to these milky mid-winter days… The result didn’t leave me stony-hearted – or maybe it just did! Chanel had gone pearls, flowers and all things sparkly – in abundance. They’d conserved their trademark, black and white magic, adding to it touches of effulgence and glitter. I adore the LBD – in the third photo – with pearls lustrously running along the back.
Pearls make me feel like a real lady. Undoubtedly. Along with silk, faux fur and feathers. What about you fashion gals, what do slip on when you want to feel like a veritable princess?

Susu, these photos are absolutely gorgeous. i love the way we can see hints of Paris architecture from the reflection of the windows in the photo. the 3rd photo is my favorite as well. something about jewelry down the back that screams sensuality in the best way.
hmmm, when i want to feel like a princess? i think having my hair and nails done for me. i adore such pampering. as far as fashion, i think i still dream of a white chiffon kind of sun dress with sandals… i really should try it some day…

My wedding dress was a dramatic scoop back. I love putting my sartorial drama at the tail end of an ensemble, rather than near my face. Wouldn’t it have been lovely to have a strand of pearls hanging down the long of my gown? It gives me shivers thinking about it.

Bonjour sweet Susu, I love the black and white and of course the pearls are diving! When I want to feel like a princess I wear heels and a full skirt that I can ’spin’ around in…it is delightful!
