Blue is flourishing in abundance on the fashion fields. I love the combination blue-black-white for its clarity. Every tint has its place and the powerful hues mingle together in the most energizing of ways. I wanted to tilt towards office chic with this ensemble.
Being stylish, but with an interesting and personalized twist has has evolved into paramount importance to me. I didn’t used to care about attire uniqueness. Now nothing seems to matter more. To feel that I exist in this metropolis. Living life to its fullest – letting my inner flow onto the outer. We all trace our lives and stories. We all have value.
How do you feel about being unique – what makes you different from others? The lovely detail. The day-changing edge. I’d love to know my dears…

I strive to be unique, yet don’t always manage. I fear getting older and falling into the trap of conformity. At the same time, I don’t want to look vulgar, or trying to hard to retain my youth. You look so pretty though! Absolutely love your ensemble, blue tights and all. Have a blessed day, my lovely!

that’s such an interesting statement, that you feel like you exist in Paris. That is the ONLY place I ever felt as if I belonged, or basically, WANTED to! Funny right? I remember my trip as if it were yesterday, the feelings it produced, of happiness and just of being. Everything felt like it was special there. I realized that it has been 5-years! Time to plan a trip.
your office is so office chic, very classy. Susu, I don’t know why, but I am inspired to write to you, but can’t find a thing to say lately for my blog! Maybe I’ll write a post about about how much I miss Paris! haha
Happy Wednesday, sweetie

You definitely have a knack for finding the best settings for your shoots! Great touch using the scarf as a belt! I like this color combination a lot as well… it’s almost like a darker version of the nautical look. I think being unique is mostly a combination of personal touches that rely on accessories and the way common clothing items are styled. I notice the French are chic but tend to dress very similar and rarely go for bold jewelry (although they do love their scarves), i.e. have a tendency for a low-key look during the day. Spicing things up with jewelry or a flash of color would probably be my favorite way to stand out from the rest in this city!

I love uniqueness too, I don’t want to live like anyone else but me and that is how everyone should feel. It is great to be inspired by others and our surroundings but to develop our own style. That is why I adore your blog it is so unique and inspiring.

Embrace it, Susu. Embrace that urge to express yourself, because that in itself, more than its details, will make you unique. Too many don’t dare.

I like the boots. Sort of Alexander Wang-esque. I’d have liked the outfit more with a leathered layered belt though but polka dots are indeed in this season.

Yes, Susu, out in the fields! Very beautiful styling with the modern sculptures that embrace you.
What I never go without are mid-century bold earrings or a colorful cabochon. I will wear these statement pieces to yoga and even to bed!
