This spring will be about café au lait nails. We shall also spot lots of khaki garb, military influences and all things tawny. Black and white lace will be having a lovely chai party out on the town. As I’m daydreaming about mellow terrace lingering out and about in Paris, I wanted to primp myself up with something chic and dainty.
Yesterday I spent a sweet afternoon in a cute coffee shop with some dear gal pals. I ventures my way into a little alley in the Latin Quarters – on the go marveling at the illuminations that are still graciously left out after the holiday season. What a honeyed after taste.
Paris makes me fly. Paris gives me the energy to create. I owe this city so much. Talking about creations… the above corset just had to “come out”. With this said, gals, have yourselves a sensual start to February!

That’s a fabulous color for you! Its amazing what can be done with taupe; the lace just looks stunning. Thank you so much for your sweet comments! I need to write a follow up to the ballet; it was so lovely, I was just transported. The pointe positions were executed with such precision. So beautiful.

Susu,
I love all colors, but I would say that of all of them I wear a lot of taupe so I really enjoyed this post. You have given me great ideas on how to dress up and chic up my simple taupe outfits. I love how you paired the fishnets with your outfit. It really just took it to the next level, pure style!! When I think of taupes and blacks I often think of Coco Chanel’s living room with the gorgeous black Chinoiserie table and the luscious camel velvet sofa…your outfit reminded me of that exquisite taste and glamour.
xoxo
ps, thanks for the tip on the taupe nail polish, I have been wanting something new.
