This is what Chanel dishes up for us on their Paris, rue Montaigne windows. Italy, Capri, Florence, Rome… the sweet sound of accordion and the enticing smell of salt water. Generous portions of steaming pasta and huge scoops of lush tiramisu. Who could resist… and why should we? Wedges are in the picture, together with lots of lacing and refined, mainly black accessories. Red nails to polish off the last mouthfuls of crunchy amarettis. Andiamo, I say!

I wish I had the nonchalant attitude of these pretty mannequins. I also wish I was clothed in Chanel. Have yourself a gorgeous weekend, you beautiful girl! I am going to Seattle tomorrow with the hubby and the kids, and I’ll be wearing my parka and jeans, a far cry from the fragile sophistication of Chanel. Hugs!!

LOl, only Lagerfeld would envision this as a perfect cruise outfit (with a fair dose of branding, mind you
. I think he’s been spending too much time in Monte Carlo… I do love the backdrop they used of the Venice Grand Canal though… to this day it’s my favorite Italian destination! But strangely no one there wears Chanel… hmmm…

Susu, You have just showed us fashion at its best. Monsieur Lagerfeld and the house of Chanel are flawless. The Venice backdrop just adds to the magical feel of being on a holiday dressed to the nines. I can just smell the food cooking in Venice and see the wonderful Rialto market which is quite possibly my favorite place in the World. I love the red nails, always classic and chic especially paired with these outfits and colors. I’m hoping to find some outfits at Kohls , jcrew etc. that have this nautical feel. I am in love with the white pants ..ooh la la
ps, thank you for your kind comments on my blog!! And I hope you are well cherie!!

I wonder how much that dropped choker necklace would set me back?? Hmmm, I only one one piece of Chanel and it is a pair of flowy crepe palazzo pants with the iconic chain draped from one side of the hip to the other. I could wear those to Venice, right?!
