My 2-week Finnish summer getaway is coming to its end. We’ll be catching a flight back home to Paris tomorrow. Our holiday has been relaxing, full of memorable pebbles of memory lane gold. I went to Tallinn and bought a pair of pumps – please have a peak – and then continued on the joyful shopping spree in Finland with two other charming pairs.
My summer vacation has been colored by bikerides along the long lakesides, ice-creams savored directly from the streetside kiosks, lying on the beach reading, snoozing off and occasionally dipping into the crystal clear waters.
I’m heading home with contentment in my heart. I came here to be restored – and that surely took place. These are dear surroundings and they shall always remain such. Paris and its fashionable bubbliness is now waiting for me… home sweet home, hereby I happily return.

Audrey – Berry red rose… how charming! And berries did I indeed come across, and eat too. Those little red wonders are all over the Finnish forests. Now back in Paris I go for the rosé;) And then New York would be cranberry Cosmo…

aaaah. What a relaxing time? I feel relaxed just reading this post.
btw love the shoes but I could never wear them. The streets and my feet are so hard on shoes, they would quickly become stubby disasters, lol.

Kitty – Vacation time surely is relaxing and luckily the weather in Paris continues to be summery, so after work I run off to the parks and lay low in the company of my latest good read.
