I thought that purple would pretty much be on its way to exit the fashion scene… but actually not. I personally enjoy its glow since it suits pale skins. Long dresses are of rule this dawn of summer. I tried one on – it had been years that I hadn’t clothed myself in such long apparel. The feeling was surprising. A lot of cleavage at the top, more abstemious at the bottom. Hiding and revealing. The good game.
Sequins are still in – usually they retreat for the warm seasons, so this is quite atypical. Could it be people sparkling up their recession-minded thoughts? Clothing can do a lot when feeling blue. Platform are also a staple. What about their hoisting effect?
I enjoy the mannequin’s pose in the photo. She seems somewhat careless yet graceful. For those who have seen Confessions of a Shopaholic – I wonder what the figure would say? For those who haven’t, I recommend. The movie is funny, yet done with taste. And they make jokes about Finland – now how often do you see that in Hollywood productions?

Susu – I have yet to try the long dress thats in style now. I’m only 5’4 (137 cm) and I worry it will make me look even shorter! Purple is definitely very in now. I kept telling my husband that purple is associated with royalty, and joked that he should wear it more. He didn’t believe me and i JUST showed him on wikipedia now that it is! hehee =)

Nubia – Royalty and sacred too, I believe. I see your concern. Maybe, I mean if you like, you could try some pumps or platforms with a long dress. Or if this particular piece doesn’t bring the best out in you, just do something else. Like little empire dresses… they’re so cute and in too. Nice to see you around my blog my friend:)

i just saw a beautiful purple sweater being worn with a summer dress… it was dreamy. i hope to find something similiar. purple really is quite royal. i’m pleased purple exists:)
