My lil’ skip over to Helsinki was like a nice chilled glass of supreme sparkling wine – tasty, bubbly and intense in emotions. I woke up at 4 on Saturday morning, arrived in Helsinki at midday, hurried over to my brother’s wedding ceremony… and the Sunday after just chilled and bonded with family. We had a classy brunch at a nearby hotel follewed by a stroll along the Baltic Sea side.
The tablesetting at the restaurant where my brother and his bride had chosen to celebrate their newly woven union had an exquisite Scandi look to it.
April colors are something in their roughness in Finland. You can truly sense the breaking of a new season. How inspiring for art or a fashion line.
Winter’s harness is gently sliding away. Place for new adventures.
Breath in the beauty faraway! This little corner of the world. My origins. The starting point. Good to come back, then good to leave – knowing where some of my roots lie. Life has since brought me others.

Aw…I’m glad the weekend turned out so well
you’re so flexible, Susu. I would get stuck in that pose and require rescue!

Kitty – I admit that flexibility has always been one of my strong points. A lot of dance training does the trick:)
