Sweet Escape

Lately I’ve been swimming in some deep waters. There just seem to be things, nothing serious really, that are eating on my spirits. I try to live up to the mood swing challenge by concentrating on little pleasures. Chocolate is something that I love, from many point of views. I love its ambrosial smell, its covetous look, its angelic creamy texture as well as the forbidden fruit side to a choc’o escape.

Eating something you’re not supposed to can have an exiting kick to it. Make it even more avaricious. When I was a young girl, my ballet teacher forbid us from enjoying chocolate. So I used to just smell it. Sort of devouring it from afar. This developed a love-and-hate relationship. Now I’ve reconciled, and I usually treat myself to a piece or two of really sturdy dark chocolate, just before going to bed. A sweet taste in my mouth and I’m ready to hit the dream lands.

  • hope you’re okay, Susu.

They say that dark chocolate has many healing qualities and has an undeniable effect on one’s brain chemistry.

    have a candy for me!

  • Kitty – I’m feeling better, thanks dear Kitty:) No probs for having a piece of chocolate for you. It does have a good dose of magnesium – and a smile-giving power too.
