I just sat down to have a nice cup of tea. And to ponder. To breathe a little. I’ve been busy at work this week. In addition to teaching English, I’ve taken care of some administrative tasks. It’s been an excellent experience to see the company from another perspective. When they say that all managers should try their subordinates’ jobs, I’m all for it. It’s important that we understand, and as a result of that, value each others’ work.
I don’t really have career plans, but my goal is to do something meaningful. Something that inspires me. Something that I find exiting. At least here and there. Being a teacher has let the social side in me blossom. I find it rewarding to state improvements in someone. Personal, intellectual or just life quality wise.
Taking time, in the midst of our everyday hustle and bustle, is important. Having some tea – and just realizing how blessed we are to have all that we already do.

Audrey – Thanks for compliment on the pic! I took the Eurostar last summer, and it was pretty magical. I was surprised to get there so fast and comfortably. Tate Modern (the London museum of modern art) is a definite must to visit.

Susu, I could have written this post myself.
To take time to appreciate all we have – and to give others the benefit of doubt and appreciate their work – is so important!
I LOVE your blog, by the way!

Eva – Thank you so much for your encouraging comment! So nice that you dropped a line. I took a tour around your blog and it looks very delicious. I also like your motto “I like to cook with wine – I sometimes even put it the food”. So hilarious, and the kind of cooking I enjoy;)
