I think that art is a marvellous way to express yourself. When you tune up the music, get that brush in your hand and just let it go – you can feel the energy coming from within. The white canvas gets its first strokes that almost shock in the middle of all that pureness.
Going to exhibitions provokes feelings from within you. You might gaze in awe in front of the piece, or fret of annoyance. Especially modern art tends to desire finding the latter kinds of reactions. But art should also be soothing, not just stir upheaval. And why not funny.
